Michael influences policy and cross-sector thinking to enable sustainable growth to be implemented and mainstreamed. Given his housing background, he is keen to promote the sustainable delivery of homes but his vision is much wider than that, encompassing infrastructure, logistics, commercial as well as residential development in order to enable strategic, sustainable placemaking.

Chris is also Managing Partner in Carr Development Consultancy Ltd, advising Councils on how to engage with SME Developers and is Director and Board Member of Federation of Master Builders. His extensive experience includes working with the NHBC as a Council Member, the Zero Carbon Hub and a number of Local Authority housing, construction and skills advisory panels. He is also an English Council Member of the CITB.

Emma is Founder of Henbe Communications and supports clients in the built environment sector with communication strategy and delivery helping clients create places people want to be and buildings they love to use. She leads the communication programme for UKBCSD. Emma has extensive experience working in the sector supporting some of the most prominent companies and projects including UK government housing programmes, major infrastructure and housing-led developments and new towns and large-scale places, innovative businesses in modular housing, property development and housing finance, start-ups and R&D firms in this space.
